Ramota Adetu, the Nigerian actress better known as Aunty Ramota, has shut down rumours that she underwent a Brazilian butt lift (BBL) surgery.
Tosin Silverdam, a blogger, earlier claimed that Aunty Ramota had the procedure in Ikorodu, Lagos. He alleged that the surgery resulted in complications leaving her in a comatose state.
But on Wednesday, the actress took to social media to share a video in which she confidently displayed her full figure.
The small-statured actress, who is known for her comedic roles, also assured her fans that she was perfectly fine.
“My lovers, thank you, nothing happened to me. This is my body,” she said in Yoruba language.
She however did not shed light on the circumstances that led her to the hospital — as seen in viral videos.

Ijoba Lande, Aunty Ramota’s on-screen husband, earlier addressed the speculations.
The skit maker said he did not know about any surgery, adding that the rumours were “baseless”.
“Please, Nigerians, all that they have been saying about Aunty Ramota being in a coma is a lie. She is not in a coma. There is no one I know with her that I could reach. And I did not intend to talk about it before, but anytime I came online, people kept asking me about the whereabouts of Aunty Ramota” he said.
“I thought it was real also when I saw a video of Aunty Ramota being pushed on the bed. I swear to God I do not know anything about it.”
