Bidemi Olaoba, the Nigerian gospel artiste, has joined Grace and Truth Nation (GNT) Music, a label co-owned by Blessed Uzochikwa and Mercy Chinwo, his wife.
The label’s management unveiled Olaoba as their latest signee in a statement on Tuesday.
Uzochikwa described Olaoba’s inclusion at GNT as a significant milestone toward “advancing the gospel of Christ”.
He said Olaoba possesses the “spiritual fervor and musical excellence” to aligns with the mission of GNT.
“We are thrilled to announce that Bidemi Olaoba, a celebrated and anointed gospel artiste, has officially joined the GNT family,” the statement reads in part.
“Known for his unwavering dedication to the promotion of God’s kingdom, Bidemi Olaoba embodies the spirit and mission of GNT: raising the flag of Jesus Christ across the world.
“Bidemi Olaoba is a name synonymous with spiritual fervor and musical excellence. His powerful voice, dynamic stage presence, and profound lyrical depth have captivated audiences and inspired countless souls.
“With a ministry deeply rooted in grace , Bidemi has committed his talents to glorifying God and spreading the message of hope, love, and salvation through his music.”
On his part, Olaoba said the label will give him opportunity to “spread the kingdom work globally”.
He also announced that his forthcoming projects will be released under the music label.
“Our mission to spread the Kingdom work globally has reached new heights. I am excited to announce the unveiling of my new projects with the Great GNT family. God is about to manifest powerfully. Stay tuned and get ready!” he said.
Olaoba is famous for his gospel highlife and fuji blend. He has recorded six singles and released two live performance compilations. The energetic singer has also featured several other gospel artistes.
Last month, Olaoba held his ‘In His Presence’ concert at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) sports complex.
