Tems, the award-winning Nigerian singer, says she is an “expert” when it comes to “picking men”.
On the recent episode of Chicken Shop Date with Amelia, the ‘Love Me Jeje’ hitmaker said she had “never been on a bad date,” adding “I am really good at picking guys”.
“I have never been on a bad date. I think I am really good at picking guys. Well it is easy, you just have to make them your b***h,” she said.
She also spoke about the qualities she looks out for in a man, listing intelligence and humor as her favorite attributes.
“Just intelligent, funny. I feel like funny people are intelligent. As long as you are intelligent, tall. I do not really care about height,” she added.
Born Temilade Openiyi, Tems has solidified herself as one of the most prominent female artistes in Africa.
In February 2023, the songstress won her first-ever Grammy award.
She bagged the ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance’ category for her role in ‘Wait for U’, the 2022 hit song by Future featuring Drake.
In March, the singer was honoured with a ‘Breakthrough Award’ at the 2024 Billboard Women in Music Awards.
Tems’ highly anticipated debut album ‘Born In The Wild’ will be released in June.
