Don Jazzy, the music producer, has linked up with Oladapo ‘D’banj’ Oyebanjo, the singer.
Don Jazzy and D’banj joined forces to establish the now-defunct Mo’ Hits Records in 2006. The label housed signed artistes like Wande Coal, Dr SID, D’Prince, and K-Switch.
But in March 2012, Don Jazzy announced that D’banj had left the group.
Last week, D’banj tendered an apology to the former members of Mo’ Hits Records. The Koko Master also revealed he will put out a track that “is dear to my heart” on Friday.
The singer also reminisced about his years in the music industry and the people who contributed to his growth.
D’banj praised his former Mo’ Hits mates for their achievements together over the years.
He also said he was done “blame gaming” while apologising to former label mates to forgive him, “If you feel I wronged you at any time”.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, D’banj shared a picture of himself with Don Jazzy while promoting his upcoming song.
The duo also posed in another photo alongside Collins Enebeli Ajereh, the showbiz consultant and father to Don Jazzy.
D’banj described Don Jazzy as his “brother for life”. He also appreciated Ajereh for “all the prayers and support”.
“Brothers for life, It’s @donjazzy again. Bad Boys Since 04 100,” he wrote.
“I must greet @mavingrandpa specially! Thanks for all the prayers and support since ’04! Since ’04 drops tomorrow, Ooossshhee.”
Don Jazzy was recently in the news after Wizkid taunted the music producer, calling him an “influencer”.
He, has, however, remained reticent and refused to address Wizkid.
