Uche Ogbodo, the actress cum producer, says the Nigerian entertainment industry is filled with “vile, envious and evil” people.
In a post via her Instagram story, Ogbodo referred to the entertainment industry as a “dark” breeding ground for “wicked” people.
The actress lamented a lack of “genuine love” among entertainers. She also called on celebrities to celebrate one another so that “good things can come their way”.
“Tufiakwa. This entertainment industry is so dark because people in it are so vile, envious and evil. Be happy for someone so that good things can come to you too nah!” she wrote.
“Congratulate the person nah then pray for your own grace. Mtchewww what do I know? Shey I dey on my own lane. Plenty questions never fill up a basket. Wishing you what others have but you do not want to be good enough to it.”
It, however, remains unclear who or what incident the actress was referring to in her post.
Ogbodo is an award-winning actress who got shot into the spotlight in 2006 with her debut movie ‘Another Bondage’.
She has since then taken up several roles and featured in hundreds of movies.
In 2015, she won the Fashion Icon Award of the Year.
