Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, the Nigerian actor fondly called Sisi Quadri, has been laid to rest in his hometown Iwo, Osun state.
Quadri’s demise was confirmed by Bolaji Amusan, the president of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), on Friday evening.
The cause of death, however, remained unknown.
In now-viral videos, the corpse of the comic actor was brought out of a van in the midst a mourning crowd.
Quadri’s body was later laid down before some Muslim clerics performed the burial rites on him.
He was then buried in his compound in Iwo town.
Some Nollywood stars who attended the burial ceremony include Sanusi Izihaq, his colleague fondly called Apankufor, Kudirat Soremi, and Olaide Ajani.

Olawale said he was saddened “to hear” about the death of the actor.
The show promoter further disclosed that the date for Quadri to travel to the US had also been fixed.
“So sad to hear about the death of Nollywood actor @iamsisiquadir. US visa was already approved, date fixed already. Who are we to question God?” he wrote.
