The management of the University of Abuja (UniAbuja) has called on graduands of the institution to come for the collection of their unclaimed original academic certificates.
In a statement signed by Nurudeen Lawal, the student affairs officer, the management also urged graduands from 1995 who are yet to collect their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) exemption letters to do so on or before November 15, 2023.
The students are advised to pick up their documents at the students affairs office, at the school’s mini campus, Gwagwalada.
The school management warned that if the concerned students failed to show up for the collection of their exception letters, they would have to go to NYSC headquarters to claim them.
“All alumni of the University of Abuja from 1995 to date who have not collected their NYSC Exemption Letters/ Certificates are advised to do so from the Students’ Affairs Office, Mini Campus, Gwagwalada, on or before Wednesday 15th November 2023 with a valid identification,” the statement reads in part.
“Failure to collect the Exemption Letters / Certificates before or on the above date, will have to go to the NYSC headquarters for collection.”
In June, UniAbuja dismissed claims that it asked the graduating students to pay clearance fees before enrolling for NYSC.
