Brain Jotter, skit maker, has reacted after a report claimed the “lady” he provided financial assistance to is a man.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Jotter shared his encounter with a physically challenged individual named Eniola who was hawking on the street.
During their conversation, he learned that the street hawker was also a makeup artist.
Moved by Eniola’s situation, Brain Jotter decided to help by transferring N400,000 to the hawker’s account.
Shortly after providing the assistance, a blogger claimed that the hawker is a man named Sultan who disguises himself as a woman to deceive people into giving him money.
“Nigerians fell for this scam and it is sad. To set the record straight, according to the group of people that helped the said disabled lady before, na man, his name is Sultan, he disguises as a woman,” the blogger wrote.
“Last year, a group of people came together and rented an apartment for him, they bought him make up tools to establish him but he prefers to be on the street deceiving people.”
Reacting to the post, Jotter expressed his disappointment and said “bro deceived us all.”
“If I tell you say I no tire, I dey lie. Just Negodu’?’. Bro deceived us all. Some people has helped him with over 600k before. He lied!!! He is a man!!!!,” Jotter wrote.
Earlier, Davido drew the attention of his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, the governor of Osun state, to the street hawker. He also asked for her location.
The governor promised to assist “Eniola in advancing her education or improving her makeup skills”.
