Adaora, daughter of Chukwuma Soludo, Anambra governor, has gotten engaged to Arinze, her partner.
The governor’s daughter took to her Instagram page on Friday to share colourful pictures from the surprise proposal.
“Allow me to introduce you to the love of my life,” she wrote.

In the photos, Arinze took to his knees to ask Adaora’s hand in marriage.
The lovebirds thereafter shared a hug while Adaora flaunted her engagement ring.
The duo also dined in a garden lighted with candles while red flowers were seen on the floor.
The proposal was held in Marrakech, Morocco.
Adaora secured a master’s degree in management from Imperial College Business School. She also earned a fashion communications diploma from Conde Nast College of Fashion and Design.
Soludo is also a former governor and ex-chairman of the board of directors of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
He served at the CBN between May 2004 and 2009. He was elected the governor of Anambra state in March 2022.
Soludo tied the knot with Nonye Frances in 1992. Their marriage is blessed with six children.
Last December, Chukwuma and Nonye renewed their marital vow while marking their 30-year-old marriage.
