Angela Okorie, the Nigerian actress, has accused Uche Elendu, her colleague, of conniving with bloggers to damage her reputation.
Recently, a blogger alleged that Okorie was involved in a bisexual relationship with a married man and his wife.
The blogger also claimed the actress was attacked by the man’s wife after she discovered the alleged affair.
In response to the claims, Okorie took to Instagram on Thursday to share videos of herself covered in blood while receiving medical treatment.
The actress denied the report. She also argued that the injuries sustained were pellets from a robbery attack years ago while returning from a show with her team in Orile, Lagos.
The film star accused Elendu of recording footage of her injuries and providing it to a blogger with the intention of spreading false rumours about her sexuality.
“Uche Elendu came to my house when I was shot and she was videoing me while they were cutting my skin with a razor blade and removing the pellets from the gunshots,” she said.
“You had the effrontery to video me to be sending to a gullible and wicked blogger that was writing that I slept with a husband and wife which you and I know it was a lie.”
Okorie said if they had evidence against her, it would have surfaced.
“I am sure if they have anything against me, they would have posted it since long time ago but they do not have anything against me, I am not part of what they do,” she added.
Their fallout comes as a surprise to fans who have witnessed their camaraderie in the past.
Okorie rose to fame in 2009.
In 2021, she made headlines when she recounted her narrow escape from death after surviving an assassination attempt.
