Davido, the Afrobeats star, has announced that his highly-anticipated PUMA collection is set to be released globally on April 7.

The musician took to his Instagram page on Monday evening to announce his partnership with the German multinational corporation that designs and manufactures athletic and casual footwear, apparel and accessories.

The singer also shared some fashion pieces to be expected from the partnership.

“My collection with PUMA will be released globally on April 7th,” he wrote alongside a video.

“Thank you to everyone for patiently waiting on this, it means the world to me.

“I will be doing meet and greet at PUMA stores in New York and the UK, just before my shows and would love to see you all there!”

The meet and greet event will be held at 5th Avenue in New York on April 2, while that of London will take place at Carnaby Street on April 6.

Puma is believed to be the third largest sportswear manufacturer in the world.

The singer earlier announced that ‘Timeless’, his fourth studio album, will be released on March 31.

The Afrobeats star also said he would be having concerts in London, New York, and Lagos with respect to the album.

Davido has been on a social media hiatus since the shocking death of Ifeanyi, his three-year-old son, on October 30, 2022.

He returned to social media on March 21, 2023.

With strings of awards and honourary mentions, the singer has established himself as one of the leading names in the Nigerian music industry.
