John Njamah, the Nollywood actor, has taken to social media to reflect on his life journey.

In a cryptic Instagram post on Wednesday, John, who is the older brother of Empress Njamah, the actress, spoke about trust, friendship, and betrayal.

The film star said being a good person — nowadays — does not pay. He said unlike before, good people are now rewarded with bad things.

John also said back in the day, people freely opened their minds to “trusted friends”. He added that these days, those same friends harbor evil intentions.

“It used to be very easy being a good person… you know helping as much as you can, giving wholeheartedly and expecting nothing in return,” he wrote.

“It used to be very easy cos it was the right thing to do.. but now, a lot of bad things happen to good people… and these bad things are caused by people you have GIVEN in the past, people that you have opened your heart to, people that you call FRIENDS… and their reciprocity is all forms of bad gestures and ill thinking towards you…

“IT’S REALLY SAD!. It used to be easy trusting people cos it was the right thing to do… but our present reality has dismissed all of that.. and has thought is otherwise.”

The nuggets by John, who has not been active on Instagram, come at about the same time when his sister is being enmeshed in a nude video scandal.

Njamah has been in the news since she alleged that George Wade, her ex-lover, was trying to blackmail her with her nude videos in his possession.

There were also rumours that Wade created a WhatsApp group wherein he allegedly released nudes of the actress.
