The movie, produced by Rogers Ofime and directed by Robert Peters, is dubbed as the first-ever Nollywood film to be shot on a moving train.

It is understood that the entirety of the project would be shot inside a moving train —  from its arrival, transit, and departure.

The movie’s production is currently taking place at the Mobolaji Johnson Rail Station in Yaba, Lagos state.

In an Instagram post, Ofime enjoined movie lovers to anticipate the project. He added that the film would be a “game-changer” in the country’s movie landscape.

“The entertainment industry in Nigeria is ready for a disruption and Native Media TV is poised to deliver such disruption with a game changer. I am super proud to have the best talents on our set @rahamasadau @uzee_usman @tanaadelana @topetedela @mofedamijo @officialosas,” he wrote.

In October last year, Ofime, who is renowned for his daring movies, revealed that Native Media, his production company, had gained approval from the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) to commence production of the film on one of the newly launched trains.

“It is with great excitement that we announce the unveiling of a new film experience, the first of its kind in this part of Africa. Great movie production has been achieved in Nollywood over the years. Native Media and our other colleagues in the industry have consistently kept the Nigerian flag flying,” he said.

“However, for the first time in Nigeria and in most of Africa, a movie will be shot almost entirely on a moving train. It is indeed a great feat for us at Native Media, the Nigerian movie industry, and Nigeria as a nation.”
