Patrick Okorie, a Nigerian singer better known as Patoranking, has announced that ‘Three’, his much-awaited album, will be released on August 28.
The gifted singer took to his social media page on Monday to break the news to his numerous fans.
“My new album ‘Three’ out in 32 days #Threethealbum’ he wrote in a terse post accompanying a video clip containing a demonstration of the album.
The announcement comes days after the United Nations Children Emergency Fund (UNICEF) enlisted him among music stars for the remake of ‘One Love’, a Bob Marley’s song, aimed at raising relief funds amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The forthcoming project comes after the success recorded by his ‘God Over Everything’ album in 2016 and ‘Wilmer‘ in 2019 — wherein he featured Davido and five other international musicians.
The songwriter rode to prominence in 2014 after the release of ‘Girlie O’, a hit single, at a time when he signed a record deal with Foston Musik.
He has since continued to pull the strings with several beautiful projects and established himself as one of the popular figures in the Nigerian music landscape.
The singer has won several awards including ‘Best Dancehall Artist’ at the 2016 AFRIMA as well as ‘African Artiste of the Year’ at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
