After much anticipation, Rema, Mavin Records’ newly signed Afropop artiste, has premiered the official video for his smashing track ‘Dumebi’.
The song, which has impressively earned the numbers in digital music streaming platforms ever since its release, is the second track off ‘Iron Man,’ the Edo-born singer’s debut EP released in 2019.
In the video, Rema is portrayed as the ever-single nerd hiking and embarking on sightseeing outings with peers who frequently outperformed him with regard to their romantic escapades.
As the video drifts towards its end, the nerdy artiste finally gets an alone time with a dark-skinned lass whose touch eventually evokes the romance in the young nerd and had him inadvertently running after his new crush.
Produced by Zeddicus and directed by TBA under the platform of Mavin Records and Jonzing World, ‘Dumebi’ is another Afrobeat jam that has had fans throwing their heads back and forth in sync.

Rema, whose real name is Divine Ikubor, earlier declared himself “the new king” of Nigerian music while announcing the release of his 2019 collaborative single with D’Prince dubbed ‘Lavida’.
In the event of Rema’s signing, D’Prince, Don Jazzy’s younger brother and CEO of Jonzing World, didn’t leave any stone unturned in lauding the teen artiste’s musical skills.
“When I first heard Rema’s work I knew this was an artist I wanted the entire world listening to; his talent and artistry are so far beyond his years,” D’Prince had said.
