Wizkid and 2baba Idibia are the headlining artistes for the 2018 edition of Gidi Culture Festival.
According to the organisers, Gidi Fest “represents the new African generation that refuses to be defeated or defined by their circumstances.
“It’s an emergence of young determined individuals coming together to push the boundaries and rewriting the status quo”.
The 2018 Gidi Culture Festival will take place at Hard Rock Café beachfront on March 30.
Other Nigerian artistes on the performance bill include Maleek Berry, Ycee, Adekunle Gold, Brymo, Show Dem Camp and Mayorkun.
In what is a departure from its trademark package, the 2018 Gidi Fest will have a second stage, where underground, alternative artistes will hold sway.
Some of the artistes are D-Truce, Maka, Remmy Baggins, Lady Donli, D-O, CHYN, Jinmi Abduls, and Jamal Swiss.
