FULL LIST: Beyoncé’s pregnancy photo is 2017’s most-liked Instagram post

Despite series of mass shootings, natural disasters and countless sexual harassment stories, 2017 has proven to be a busy year for celebrities on Instagram.

In February, Beyoncé set a new record for likes on the social media platform after she announced her pregnancy.

The post got more than 11 million likes, surpassing the record at the time: a shot of Selena Gomez drinking Coca-Cola, which earned more than six million likes.

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo had the second most liked photo of the year – a picture celebrating the birth of his twins.
