D’banj says his CREAM platform which was established about a year ago, is now worth $100m.
He made this known in a post on his Instagram page where he also announced the launch of DCream Records.
The singer, however, failed to state who carried out the valuation and the assets considered to have arrived at the figure.
“7:7:17 a dream that started on paper and went live today exactly a year ago, to help CREATIVE talents find their Dreams across Nigeria,” he wrote.
“A year later it has become the channel that I was looking for in 2012, It has gotten a Global Label Distribution Deal for my people (African Talents) to birth the Label @DCREAMRECORDS and has just been Valued above a US$100 million Dollars.
“I’m so humbled, just want to thank God, my family, my FANs, ACS, critics and my partners. and i want to tell you no matter what, believe in God and Believe in yourself!”
CREAM is an acronym for Creative, Reality, Entertainment, Arts and Music.
The CREAM platform provides upcoming artistes the opportunity to have their songs recorded.
The platform also shoots videos for the budding artistes and helps them secure collaboration with established acts.
The first set of beneficiaries on the platform were Rayce, TK Swag, MKJ, Leke Benson and Legend Courage.
Dbanj was expected to release ‘King Don Come’ his fourth studio album on Friday – but there’s been no word of it from the singer.
The ‘Oliver Twist’ singer recently became a father.
