Kingsley Okonkwo, a singer better known as ‘Kcee,’ has sued his former collaborator Harrysong for alleged human rights abuse.
The pair has been at odds since Harrysong left Five Star Music, a record label owned by Kcee and his brother Emeka Okonkwo.
Soso Soberekon, a former manager at Five Star, was also sued alongside Harrysong.
In the fundamental human rights suit, Kcee claims that Harrysong and Soso are colluding to malign his public image.
The suit was recently filed before a Lagos state high court. He has also written an affidavit urging the court to enforce his fundamental human rights.
Reacting to the suit, Harrysong took to Instagram to lament that despite apologising to Kcee, the singer can’t seem to get over his exit from Five Star.
He noted that his success is making the ‘Limpopo’ singer uncomfortable.
“I have never seen where a lady is gang raped and beaten up mercilessly and at same time asked not to cry,” Harrysong wrote.
“Even though you and I know you offended me, I listened to the voice of elders and appologized to you despite all the oppression, yet my success causes you running stomach.
“And to my fans out there, please brace up for impact, since they have decided to hold us down by all means, We are ready to prove them wrong by all means…, less I forget, help me ask them, what is my crime this time?”
