Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson Okojie, has been inaugurated as the senior special assistant on entertainment, arts and culture to Kogi governor, Yahaya Bello.
The actress took to Instagram on Monday to share pictures from her inauguration.
“Thank you so much to his excellency, the executive governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and her excellency, Mrs Rashida Bello and every son and daughter of Kogi state. I will not let you down,” she wrote.
Mercy Johnson also thanked her husband, Odi Okojie, for “blessing” her new endeavour.
She added: “He supports my every move once its right and tells me not to move an inch once its wrong. Once again he has given me his blessings on this challenge… Thank you for every opportunity, love, honesty and words.”
