Innocent ‘2baba’ Idibia is the latest entertainer on the star-studded roster of Globacom brand ambassadors.

The ‘African Queen’ singer was, prior to now, a brand ambassador for another telecommunication company, Airtel, for two years.

2baba was unveiled on Sunday night at the Glo Mega Music Tour event in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

The Glo Mega Music Tour is a series of concerts which will see comedians and musicians signed to Globacom perform in 27 cities.

2baba joins the brand endorsement portfolio of the company which has some of the best artistes in the country.

They include Patience Ozokwor, popularly called Mama G; Omawumi, Ego, Yvonne Nelson, Nadia Buhari, Sessime, MI., Basketmouth, Bovi Ugboma, Reekado Banks, Korede Bello and Hadizah Blell (Di’ja). Other accomplished personalities who are ambassadors of the company include Funke Akindele, Ime Bishop, Odunlade Adekola, Bimbo Oloyede, Ego

‘Dem Mama’ singer Timaya and indigenous rapper Olamide are the most recent high-profile entertainers to be unveiled as Globacom ambassadors.

Timaya announced in October 2016 that he had signed a “great deal” with the telecommunication company.

After ending his brand endorsement deal with Etisalat in November 2016, Olamide joined Globacom in February.

TheCable Lifestyle had in September 2016 reported that Globacom was inching towards terminating the contract of Psquare, a group comprised of Peter and Paul Okoye.
