A wave of online reports is claiming that Natasha Osawaru, Edo state lawmaker, and her celebrity husband 2Baba have welcomed their first child together.

The news originated from a Facebook page bearing the lawmaker’s name, which announced the arrival in a post on Sunday.

The post, shared on what appeared to be her page, was accompanied by a photo purportedly showing Natasha with a baby bump. It claimed the couple has been blessed with a “bouncy baby boy”.

The caption described the newborn’s arrival as the beginning of a “wonderful new chapter” for the Idibia family.

“Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Idibia. We joyfully welcome our bouncy baby boy into the world,” the post reads.

“May this precious little one bring endless laughter, happiness, and blessings to our beautiful family. With love, strength, and unforgettable moments as we begin this wonderful new chapter. Welcome, baby boy Idibia.”

However, the announcement lacked specific details, as it did not disclose the child’s date of birth or name.

As of the time of this report, neither Natasha nor 2Baba has confirmed the birth on their verified Instagram pages.

The lovebirds tied the knot in July.

Their relationship became public shortly after 2Baba announced his split from his estranged wife Annie Macaulay Idibia in January. At the time, he clarified that his romance with the lawmaker was unrelated to the breakup.

The ‘African Queen’ hitmaker proposed to Osawaru in February. The relationship gained family approval in April when Natasha visited Rose, 2Baba’s mother, who had previously spoken against the union.
