2Baba has shut down viral rumours claiming he was arrested in the United Kingdom following a heated disagreement with his new wife Natasha Osawaru.
The speculation began circulating on Thursday, alleging the singer had been apprehended by UK police.
Gossip blogger Tosin Silverdam fuelled the rumours in an Instagram post, claiming “Tuface Idibia has allegedly been arrested after a heated argument with his wife.
“The argument went crazy to extent that Natasha broke a bottle.”

This led to reports that his highly anticipated UK tour, which was scheduled to begin in London on October 2, had been unexpectedly cancelled.
However, the ‘African Queen’ hitmaker took to his Instagram page on Friday with a video statement to set the record straight.
He attributed the tour’s postponement not to any arrest or marital strife, but to a “medical emergency”.
“First of all, I want to appreciate everybody that came out. We had a medical emergency. It was tough, shey you understand?” 2Baba spoke in Pidgin English.
“To the show organizers, and everybody that came out, we go re-book.”
He concluded with a plea to the public, asking them to refrain from spreading unfounded gossip.
“And please, if you know sabi something, make una no talk I beg,” the singer added.
2Baba and Natasha, the Edo state lawmaker, had arrived in the UK on October 2, the same day his tour was set to begin. The singer had initially announced the UK tour on August 26.
Their relationship became public shortly after 2Baba announced his split from his estranged wife Annie Macaulay Idibia in January.
At the time, he clarified that his romance with the Edo lawmaker was unrelated to the breakup.
The singer proposed to Osawaru in February.
The relationship gained family approval in April when Natasha visited Rose, 2Baba’s mother, who had previously spoken against the union.
The lovebirds tied the knot in July.
