The 2026 Golden Globe Awards nominations have been unveiled, with American action thriller ‘One Battle After Another’ securing the most nods.

The award ceremony, which began in 1944, is aimed at honouring artists, industry professionals and their work.

Paul Thomas Anderson’s ‘One Battle After Another’ leads the nominations with nine nods across major categories, including ‘Best Comedy or Musical,’ ‘Best Director,’ ‘Best Original Screenplay’ and ‘Best Leading Actor’.

It is followed by ‘Sentimental Value’ with eight nominations; ‘Sinners’ with seven; ‘Hamnet’ with six; and both ‘Frankenstein’ and ‘Wicked: For Good’ with five each.

In the TV category, ‘The White Lotus’ tops the list with six nominations, followed by ‘Adolescence’ with five, while ‘Only Murders in the Building’ and ‘Severance’ secured four apiece.

K-Pop ‘Demon Hunters’ also earned a nomination for ‘Best Animated Feature,’ while its standout track ‘Golden’ is in contention for ‘Best Original Song’.

According to Billboard, twenty-seven actors earned their first-ever Golden Globe nominations, including Bill Maher, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Jacob Elordi, Kevin Hart, Michael B. Jordan and Paul Mescal.

The 83rd Golden Globe Awards will take place on January 11. Comedian Nikki Glaser is set to return as host, with the ceremony airing on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
