The sensational OAP, who had sickle cell disease, was found dead by husband, Aurelien Boyer.

While some of her fans are still in shock over her sudden death, her colleagues have described her as someone who was always ready to lend a helping hand.

“You changed the energy level on radio and made so many people fall in love with the profession, your energy was infectious,” a fan tweeted.

When I heard, at first it was a numb shock, because of course, it had to be a lie. But then, I heard again and again. How? No. I’m so sad because Tosyn was such a light. A genuine light that was rooting for everyone she believed in. One of the few that I met in the industry early on that truly wanted people to win even when it didn’t serve her. Tosyn is a light that will never dim because she loved to help people. Even when she was upset with you, she wasn’t spiteful. Or vengeful. I’m so sorry. About the pain that the people that love you feel today and will feel for days and days to come. Thank you for your strength. For always smiling. I wish you could have had the chance to do more you beautiful, vibrant queen. But thank you for doing plenty. . Something this sad happens, but the world keeps going. It sucks. And it teaches me even more, to make the most of everyday, for myself and the people I love. Love&Lyt Tosyn Bucknor.

Was at the Spa here in #London when I saw on @adenikeoyetunde Instagram handle of the passing away of a rare Gem; @tosynbucknor . She was very selfless! 2009, I was president of Infinity Foundation, We had Mentor and Oprhan Project where we invite celebrities to spend a whole day, luanch and watching movies with Orphans so as to inspire them. We invited alot of #OAP to anchor the event for us but because we didn't have a sponsor, we informed them we couldn't afford to pay them. None agreed except for @tosynbucknor who didnt just show up but came an hour before the event started and spent the whole day with these orphans at SilverbirdGallaria. The last time she hosted Myself and @theawesomecoach on her Show, she was as delightsome as ever. Always full of life and Energy. I never knew she was battling with Sickle Cell until today and that it will be our last chat and picture together. she has tought us that you can either make your pain everyone's pain or decide like Tosin to share love and bring joy to everyone around you. My Condolences to @funkebucknor , Your Husband and family. May Your Soul Rest In Peace. We will miss you!Even while typing this tears are rolling down my eyes. You are a blessing to this world.Good Bye Sis! #tosynbucknor #topradio #inspirationfm #oap #nigeria #media #radio #rip #sicklecell

My dearest namesake Oluwatosin….. This is really unbelievable news but as its said, God knows best and may He grant your husband, mum, sister and family and friends fortitude to bear your loss. You will be missed. You lived. You touched people's lives through your voice as a musician, writer, actor, radio presenter and most especially human. You also did so much to raise awareness and source funds for people living with Sickle Cell Anaemia which you, yourself lived with. You looked out for others. I remember your first JEANS FOR GENES event at SWE BAR, you invited me and others to show collections with Jeans as our main fabric. That's where I met @bygeoru You raised funds, started conversations, asked people living with Sickle cell to share their experience and so on. You performed free at my 2nd fashion show at TerraKulture on the 3rd of April, 2005 and introduced me to some amazing dancers who also performed.. Life is changed, not ended.. Rest in Peace dear one. I wish the news wasn't true though.. #TosynBucknor #restinpeace Please pray for the eternal repose of her soul and her family….
