The singer, real name Adekunle Temitope, was on Monday arrested and paraded alongside three others at the police command headquarters in Ikeja.

The ‘Penalty’ singer was subsequently remanded at the state criminal investigation and intelligence department, Yaba.

Imohimin Edgal, Lagos commissioner of police, had said the suspects were arrested after threatening to shoot policemen controlling traffic at the Oshodi area of the state.

Edgal said the musician has a pre-existing case for allegedly shooting a gun at his Agege show where four persons were injured.

The commissioner said: “You would have thought the incident would caution him but surprisingly today, I got a situation report from traffic monitors at the Oshodi expressway about four unknown gunmen in green unregistered SUV.

“He (Small Doctor) allegedly brought out a weapon and threatened to fire the policemen. Fortunately, the DPO and other policemen at Shogunle intercepted the suspects and arrested them.”
