Bisola Aiyeola, actor and singer, says single motherhood has affected the kind of music she makes.

The ex-reality show star whose has an eight-year-old daughter said she is wary of being explicit with her lyrics.

“Being a single mother has affected the kind of music I’m doing,” she told NotJustOK TV.

The ‘Luchia’ singer said she endeavours to make her music appealing to all ages.

“It has sort of changed my style of music in a way that if I’m singing a love song, I may not be too explicit in it. You have to find a way to go around your lyrics so that the younger generation can listen to it as well.”

Aiyeola, who said she would love to work with producers such as Tekno, Selebobo and Legendary Beatz, noted that the “most difficult thing is making danceable songs”.

The actress said she wouldn’t have invested in music or movies if she had won the N25m prize money of Big Brother Naija.

Aiyeola said she finds herself drawn to the real estate business, and as such, may have considered it, had she won.

“I would have invested my money in real estate,” she said.

Efe Ejeba, a rapper, won the 2017 edition of the reality show while Aiyeola was the first runner-up.
