Rico Swavey on Sunday became the latest housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother Naija reality show.
Born Patrick Fakoya, Rico is one of the housemates who was not nominated for eviction in the early weeks of the show.
The Life 101 actor was put up for eviction alongside Cee-C, Nina, Alex, Miracle and Lolu.
He was nominated for eviction by Anto and Alex.
When asked, Anto said she nominated him because he appeared as her biggest competition in the house; while Alex said she nominated him because he had been displaying some “funny character” she didn’t like.
Of all the nominated housemates, Miracle garnered 25.76 percent of the total votes while Cee-C got 19.80 percent.
Lolu, Nina, Alex and Rico got 16.29, 15.81, 14.64 and 7.71 percent respectively.
During his pre-eviction diary session, Rico told Big Brother that Miracle did not deserve to see the end of the show.
“He’s a great guy but I feel like if he doesn’t see the end of the show, everything will still work out fine,” he said.
There are now eight housemates left in the reality television game show.
Mr Eazi and Sean Tizzle performed at the live eviction show.
