Joy, Inc is set to host a special edition of The Joy Masterclass with the theme ‘Dealing with Depression’.

Banky Wellington, an entertainer better known as Banky W, Ubi Franklin and Gbonjubola Abiri will all share their experiences on coping with depression during the masterclass.

According to Joy, Inc, at least seven million Nigerians suffer from depression.

The Joy Masterclass, hosted by  Yale World Fellow, Chude Jideonwo, “weaves the confluence of thinking and research about happiness, human flourishing and resilience – across psychology, economics, divinity and philosophy – into practical lessons, habits and tools that help participants transform their thinking, attitudes and actions”.

Joy, Inc’s main focus is building a generation of happier Africans by equipping young Africans with the right resources and emotional skills.

The Joy Masterclass is in partnership with Mentally Aware Nigeria Initiative and She Writes Woman, two internationally recognised non-profit organisations working on mental health in Nigeria.
