Weight loss (bariatric) surgery is used as a treatment for people who are very obese. It involves making changes to your digestive system to help you lose weight.

The movie star shared a video of herself on her Instagram page to show off her new body.

In the video, she also appeared to be complaining about adding weight.

In the comment section, the Instagram user alleged Badmus had once admitted to undergoing a weight loss surgery.

“She already admitted to weight loss surgery,” the user wrote.

Badmus, who seemed to be offended by the comment, told the user to stop spreading the wrong narrative.

“Keep quiet and stop lying,” the actress fired back.

Badmus, who has been in the movie industry since 2008, had constantly talked about reducing her weight.

In 2020, the film star challenged people who sell weight-loss products to use her as a project to show such items are indeed effective.

Badmus became popular when she featured in ‘Jenifa’ and Omo ‘Ghetto,’ two Yoruba movies. She has since then enjoyed fame in the movie industry.

She was recently under criticism for declaring her support for Bola Tinubu, presidential hopeful on the platform of the APC.
