DJ Spinall has a signed a music distribution deal with Atlantic Records UK.

The disc jockey on Monday announced the development, describing it as a “great step forward” in his career.

“God is great. Another great step forward,” DJ Spinall wrote on Instagram.

“Thank you @atlanticrecordsuk for sharing the vision and shout out my team for the great work!! Today is a good day. @thecapmusic @fems.world @thetolulope.”

DJ Spinall has released a number of hit songs in the past year, most notably the Wizkid-assisted ‘Nowo’.

In March, Rihanna, superstar singer, inadvertently promoted the DJ Spinall-Wizkid collaboration.

To celebrate her feat as the first female artist to have over two billion streams on Apple Music, she posted a video clip of Dream Chasers, a Nigerian dance group, performing to ‘Nowo’.

The post by the Barbados-born singer boosted the popularity level of ‘Nowo’.

DJ Spinall, who has over 1.3 million followers on Instagram, recently teamed up with Omawumi Megbele and Slimcase for a new single titled ‘Malowa’.

The disc jockey, also known as The Cap, has been nominated in four categories at the upcoming All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA).

He is nominated for best African DJ, best African collaboration, and best male artist in West Africa.

In August, DJ Spinall embarked on an 11-venue tour of the US, after which he recently kicked off his United Kingdom performance series.
