Florence Otedola, the Nigerian disc jockey better known as DJ Cuppy, has finally confirmed her engagement to Ryan Taylor, the UK boxer.
The lovebirds have been in the public eye in the past weeks since a video surfaced of Cuppy getting a ring from Taylor in what is believed to be a marriage proposal.
Cuppy also recently shared photos of a lovey-dovey moment with Taylor in the United Arab Emirates, leaving their followers confused on the true nature of their relationship.
But in a Twitter post on Monday, the ‘Gelato’ crooner officially announced that she is engaged to the British boxer.
Cuppy said she and Taylor met 25 days ago at Gumball 3000 driving rally in Dubai.
The entertainer also reiterated her love for her boo, adding that sometimes one falls for the “most unexpected person at the most unexpected time.”
“I can officially announce that I’m engaged! Only 25 days ago during @Gumball3000 driving rally, I met the love of my life,” she wrote.
“Sometimes you fall for the most unexpected person at the most unexpected time and for the most unexpected reason. I love you deep @RyanTaylor”.
Cuppy’s tweet has, however, stirred several reactions on Twitter with users tackling her for tagging an account that doesn’t belong to Taylor.
