As Children’s Day celebration held around the world on Saturday, May 27, it was the first of such of singer D’banj – and it was a surreal experience.
It was so surreal that he could not find words to describe how excited he felt.
The singer had 24 hours prior, announced the birth of his first child, who was christened ‘Daniel Oyebanjo’, after the Kokomaster and his father.
Dapo ‘D’banj’ Oyebanjo, having managed to keep details of his wedding and baby under wraps for so long, now appears more than keen to share his bundle of joy with the world.
The singer took to Instagram to celebrate Daniel The Third, as the child is called, on Children’s Day.
He wrote: “Happy first #ChildrensDay @danieldthird … I can’t really explain this feeling, but I’m so blessed to have you.
“Also Happy #ChildrensDay to all the beautiful Children Across Nigeria and the world . God Bless you all.”
In July 2016, TheCable Lifestyle reported that the singer got married to Didi Kilgrow, younger sister of Samantha Walsh, MTV host.
The ceremony, which was a private one, had only nuclear families of both parties in attendance.
Guests were unaware they were attending a wedding, as it was previously announced that the event was to mark the birthday of Dbanj’s father.
