The song, which has over 106 million YouTube views, is reportedly gaining traction on the airwaves.

According to Rolling Stone, four new radio stations added ‘Fall’ into rotation last week.

The single is said to have “482 plays to date, spread across 36 stations”.

The ripple effect of the increased airplay has been a keener interest of listeners in the song and the artiste.

‘Fall’ is said to be one of the top 100 most Shazam’d singles in the US while it was a top 10 record on Shazam in New York. In Atlanta, it was the number three most Shazam’d singles.

The American newspaper reported that Asa Asika, Davido’s manager, said the singer’s team just started “attacking US radio properly”.

In December 2018, ‘Fall’ became the first Nigerian music video to hit 100 million views on YouTube.

The Daps-directed video also made history as the most-viewed Nigerian music video of all time on YouTube.
