In what is an unexpected departure from the daily tradition, Nina, reigning head of the Big Brother Naija house, presided over Friday’s diary room session.

Biggie, the unseen voice and lord of the Big Brother house, usually runs the diary room.

By virtue of the development, Nina has now become the first ever housemate of the reality show to be handed the responsibility.

The housemates were ordered by Biggie to stay in the bedroom while Nina prepared herself.

One of the ninjas (masked handy-men and messengers of the house) delivered a large green notebook with a pen for her to write on.

Although initially shaky, Nina eventually settled into her temporary role — but was unable to restrain her giggles whenever she called her fellow housemates to come to the lounge for their respective sessions.

With Biggie not on hand to probe and offer them counsel and a listening ear, all the housemates, save for Rico Swavey, kept their sessions short and straight to the point.

Swavey was asked for his thoughts on being the only housemate to have never been evicted. He responded with a talk about how his positive approach and disposition to everyone and all situations had played a huge role.

Tobi was the only housemate excluded from the diary session as he is being punished for ignoring Big Brother last week.

Anto, Cee-C, Lolu, Bambam, Tobi, Alex, Teddy A and Miracle are up for eviction from the show.
